Giving

The word tithe means tenth and refers to the first ten percent of all our income. The Bible tells us that the tithe belongs to God, and is to be immediately set aside for Him (Leviticus 27:30), and is to be brought to the storehouse (Malachi 3:10). Today, that storehouse is the local church.

When we tithe, we give to others through the church. God is not interested in the simple action of giving; He is intensely interested in the faith that prompts the action of giving. The Bible says that by giving generously, we are able to “take hold of the life that is truly life.” You aren’t really living unless you’re freely giving. (1 Timothy 6:19)

Make an Offering

If you wish to give online or sign up for regular donations, please click the button above and you will be redirected to our online giving services provider.

We would also like to encourage our church members to consider supporting the De Soto community through the grace of giving as well, by contributing tot he One De Soto Relief Fund. It was created by the De Soto Kansas Food Pantry as a well to help citizens of our very own community who are in a crisis of hardship.

To learn more about this effort and how to donate, please visit One De Soto Relief Fund.
